| Synopsis |
| Picking up where "The Fellowship of the Ring" left off, "The Two Towers" is the second film in Peter Jackson's epic adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy trilogy. This chapter of the trilogy finds Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Austin) continuing towards Mount Doom to destroy the one ring of power. Meanwhile the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), previously thought dead, returns to help reunite the fellowship against Sauron. Was nominated for multiple Oscars, including Best Picture.
